Possibility of afternoon thundershowers will gradually increase over the island during the next few days, particularly from today (19th Nov.), Met. Department said.
Showers or thundershowers will occur today in most provinces over the island after 2.00 p.m. while showers will occur at several places in the Northern and Eastern coastal areas.
Fairly heavy falls (about 75 mm) can be expected at some places in the Ratnapura District.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces during the morning.
