Navy established an RO Plant in Palaviya

Sri Lanka Navy handed over a Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant to the public in the village of Daluwa, Palaviya in Kalpitiya on 14th August.

 

According to the Navy Media, this was the 419th Restoration Water Treatment Plant handed over to public through the effort made by the Navy Research and Development Unit.

 

With the concept of President Maithripala Sirisena, with the financial assistance of the Presidential Task Force on Prevention of Chronic Kidney Disease, Srl Lankan Navy undertook the project to provide clean drinking water in the areas where high prevalence of kidney disease is recorded.

 

The latest plant installed at the premises of Daluwa Sumanaramaya will henceforth provide safe drinking water requirement of the community in the region.
