Approved Elections Offices which have already been established on the basis of polling district can function till the midnight of 18.09.2014. but propaganda activities at such offices should cease after the midnight of 17.09.2014. Similarly, in the notified central election offices or in any office which is permitted to be established in the district for a candidate Or in the residence of the candidate display of promotional material, placards, posters or decorations are prohibited after the midnight of 17.09.2014. All the candidates and supporters are therefore requested to remove all such display material and decorations after the midnight of 17.09.2014.

02. Teams of police officers of District/ Regional Headquarters and monitoring officers will visit to inspect such places in the forenoon of 18.09.2014. Display boards in Approved Election Offices will be removed from 18th September and also, election offices in polling districts should be removed from the forenoon of 19.19.2014 and action will be taken to remove unauthorized offices, which do not comply with the election laws.

03. All the candidates and their supporters are kindly requested to comply with the above requirements in order to ensure a free and fair election.

04. The Election Commissioner also expects that the Secretaries and Senior Office bearers of the respective political parties would promptly inform the candidates and the activists in this regard.
