    Visit the Aviation Week at American College

    The American College of Higher Education in Dehiwela has organized the Aviation Week Exhibition from 1st to 5th October 2014 with the purpose of enhancing the knowledge of our Children in Sri Lanka – with regard to the Aviation Stream by seeing the display of aircraft engines, propellers, instruments etc. free of charge to the General Public from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.


    The Chief Guest of the event was H.M.C.Nimalsiri, Director General/CEO of Civil Aviation Authority of Sri-Lanka and Guests of Honour were R.M.S.P.Rathnayake, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, P.A.R.N. Senanayake, Group Captain and Commanding Officer of SLAF.


    The American College conducts Diploma programmes of two year duration in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Tourism, Travel and Flight Services and Airport Operations Management. The first year of the programme is conducted in Sri Lanka and the second year in the Guangzhou Civil Aviation College in the Republic of China. Students who register during the Aviation Week will be entitled for 50% discount for the first year in Sri Lanka (conditions apply).
