The project provides space for 36 numbers of pavement hawkers and the estimated cost is Rs. 6.47Million.
The project would facilitate to clear the pavements of the road for free movement of pedestrians in Piliyandala Town.

Commercial building for pavement hawkers is proposed to be constructed at the premises belonging to Kesbewa Urban Council , adjoining the Divisional Secretariat.The architectural drawings have been completed by the Urban Development Authority.
