The presentation of Ranbima Land Deeds took place under the patronage of Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa at the Hambantota Administrative Complex on Sundayy. Self-employed people were given financial assistance at the ceremony.
Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa said that the people in the area lost their lives and properties due to tsunami. He said that they were now being provided with housing and lands. He requested the people to produce goods so that imports can be reduced.
Hambantota Mayor Eraj Ravindra, district Secretary R.P. Soysa were present on the occasion.
