A majority of the projects include rural road development activities. Accordingly, 51 such road development projects are in progress. Others include construction of small bridges and community halls.

Under 'One work for One Village' project undertaken by the Government, a total of 59 development projects have commenced in the Dambulla Divisional Secretariat area. The Economic Development Ministry has released Rs. 59 million for the purpose.
