Donation campaign of school uniforms for the school children in Mullaittivu district was held on 03 December 2014 at 1100 hrs with the graceful participation of Security Force Commander Maj Gen NAJC DIAS WWV RWP RSP USP ndc as the Chief Guest. Government Agent Mr. N. Vedanayaham, Zonal Education Director Mrs. U. Muneeshwaran, Government executive officials and Military officials with more than 1000 of crowd gathered to the occasion got a celebrative mood with the presence of schooling children, principals, teachers and number of representatives in education sector in the area. The function of inauguration accession held with the decor of traditional dances and performances of school children in the area. The occasion was of pleasant and active participation of hundreds of school children came to an end receiving of refreshments to the spectators.

Uniform donation ceremony was organized in several stages, the first stage of symbolizing the distribution of school uniforms for 300 school children was held. Hence, the rest of distribution of uniforms for the school children will be organized in respectively at the venues of SFHQ (MLT) under commanding 3 Divisions on 04th ,05th December 2014.

Newly inaugurated leading garment industry in Mullaittivu , Hirdaramani garment factory in liaison with Tesco institute in UK extended fullest support and cooperation in gifting donations and organizing the event which was held at ‘STAR PLAZA’ reception hall in Puthukkudirrippu. (Army)
