The government will issue Treasury bills for 12 billion rupees through an auction on 31st December 2014, the Central Bank announced Friday.
The T-bills will be offered in 3 maturities - Rs 2 billion of 3-month, Rs. 3 billion of 6-month and Rs. 7 billion of 12-month. The minimum amount of a bid is Rs. 5 million and multiples of Rs. 1 million onwards. The issues will be settled on 2nd January 2015.
Bids are invited from the Primary Dealers in Government Securities and should be made only through the electronic bidding facility provided by the Central Bank.
