68,000 clocks and election posters containing the image of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa have been found at a storage in Sapugaskanda.
Police Media Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said on an information received of a suspicious consignment search operations were conducted following a search warrant issued by the Mahara Court.
The store owner had given a statement to the Police saying that the store was rented out to the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) for Rs. 1.5 million a month. (KH)
