The laboratories are located in Palapathwela Buddhagosha MV, Yatawatta Weera Parakkarama MV and Madawela-Ulpotha MV.

The Government has spent Rs.30 million in constructing the laboratories to provide science facilities for the rural schools. Under this program three technical laboratories in Matale district will be inaugurated by Cultural Affairs State Minister Nandhimitra Ekanayaka today.
