Veteran musician Wilbert Anthony had passed away this morning at his residence in Negombo. He was 72 at the time of his death.
The funeral will be held on coming Saturday (18) Kadolkale Thaladuwa Roman Catholic Cemetery in Negombo.
Several popular songs including 'Kavaiyanage rasa hangum', 'Kungkuma Chandana', 'Bambaru Mathwela', 'Sudu sela agin', 'Nomaga Noyan Puthe' has sung by Wilbert Anthony and he showed talent as an actor in few of films which he sung for.
