Showers will occur at times in the sea area off the coast extending from Puttalam to Hambantota via Colombo and Galle. Showers or thundershowers may develop at several places in the sea areas around the island after 4 pm.
Winds will be Southwesterly and speed will be 20-40 kmph.
Gulf of Mannar sea area and the deep and shallow sea area off the coast extending from Colombo to Pottuvil via Galle and Hambantota will be very rough at times as the winds can strengthen up to 50-80 kmph at times.
