Luxury Cruise Ship Silver Dawn Arrives at Galle Port

The ultra-luxury cruise ship Silver Dawn, carrying 596 tourists, arrived at Galle Port yesterday (09).

The vessel, approximately 213 meters in length, features 11 decks and is equipped with high-end luxury facilities.

The ship is currently on a 141-day world voyage titled “The Curious and the Sea.” After arriving at Trincomalee Port on the 7th, it anchored at Galle Port from yesterday morning (09).

Tourists who arrived on the ship visited several places  including Galle Fort, Balapitiya Madu River, Unawatuna, Rumassala, and Koggala.

The vessel is scheduled to arrive at Colombo Port today (10).
