Popular Actor Sunil Hettiarachchi has passed away at the age of 78, this morning.
Sunil Hettiarachchi is a well-known Sri Lankan comedian and character actor. Hettiarchchi began his film career in 1982 playing a servant in Kadawunu Poronduwa.
He has also acted in International productions filmed in Sri Lanka like The Second Jungle Book: Mowgli & Baloo (1997) and Mother Teresa: In the Name of God's Poor (both 1997).
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
