    Former Japanese PM meet ONUR Chairman

    Visiting Former Prime Minister of Japan Yasuo Fukuda, called on the Chairperson of the Office for National Unity and Reconciliation (ONUR), Former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga recently.

    Former President explained the Japanese PM the government’s commitment towards national unity and reconciliation and the Premierwas pleasedto see Sri Lanka moving forward with peace and harmony.

     

    Mrs. Kumaratunga invited the Japanese Premier to facilitate moreJapanese investors to Sri Lanka to contribute towards economic development in Sri Lanka. She was also invited by the Premier Fukuda to visit inJapan.

     


    Ambassador of Japan in Sri Lanka Kenichi Suganuma and Director of ONUR, Amb. Danesh Casie  Chetty also participated.
