Minister said that they are negotiating a helicopter service to transport patients. Initial cost is heavy but on the whole it is cheap for the government as the damages to the patient is less.

The ambulance service is free to the public and when transporting accident victims an ambulance is essential as in most cases a lot of damage is done while transporting the patient to a hospital said Minister of Health and Indigenous Medicine Dr. Rajitha Senaratna.
