“Sahasak Nimavum- 2016" exhibition and new inventors’ competition, organized by the Sri Lanka Inventors’ Commission will commence today (22nd Sept.) at SLECC.
This year the exhibition will comprise of 305 new inventions from 14 fields under 04 categories namely, school, university, tertiary educational institutions, and open sector.
Minister of Science, Technology, and Research Susil Premajayanth, State Minister Lakshman Senevirathne will participate in the inauguration this evening.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
