Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine Dr. Rajitha Senarathna left for Myanmar yesterday (6th March) to attend the Asia-Pacific region digital health conference.
The conference which will be held from today (7th March) until the 10th will be attended by health ministers and officials from over 30 countries.
The conference will discuss on how health statistics and planning will help reduce the health expenditure. It is organized by the World Health Organization, UNICEF and the Asian Development Bank.
Minister Senaratna will deliver a special lecture on Sri Lanka’s development in the field of health.
