President Gotabaya Rajapaksa was gifted a framed photo by Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday while on an official visit in India. Gotabaya Rajapaksa was following a course at the Defense Services Staff College in India, where he befriended General V. K Singh, who later became the Chief of Staff of the Indian Army. Singh is presently the Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways. Both a young Rajapaksa and Singh are seen in the group photo.
