    O/L candidates can sit for exam at closest center if necessary

    Steps have been taken to allow candidates of GCE Ordinary Level 2019 to sit for their exams at the closest examination center if necessary.Commissioner General of Examination Sanath B. Pujitha stated that this decision was taken due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions.The GCE Ordinary Level exam for the year 2019 will commence tomorrow (02) and 717,000 candidates will sit for the exam this year.

    The exam is set to at 8.30 am commence tomorrow and the Department of Examinations requests the candidates to arrive at the examination centers half an hour prior to the exam.If any candidate hasn’t received their admission for the exam they are able to printout a copy of the admission through the official website of the Exams Department, www.doenets.lk.The Department requests candidates to call 1911 on any issues regarding the exam.The O/L exam for the year 2019 will conclude on the 12th of December.
