By last evening the total number of Coronavirus positive cases stood at 198, according to the Health Services Director General Dr. Anil Jasinghe.
Since the confirmation of seven Covid-19 positive cases on March 10th only one more tested positive by yesterday.
Of the seven detected on the 10th of March, six of them were those who had closely associated with an infected person from the Ja-Ela area.
Out of the patients who were under treatment in hospital, so far 54 of them have made a complete recovery and have been discharged from hospital.
