The Good Governance Forum within the Rakwana electorate has been established at Godkawela under the patronage of Secretary to the Ministry of Mass Media and Information Karunaratne Paranavithana.

The purpose of this Forum is to bring together the people against thug politics. The Forum comprises members of the clergy, the educated, scholars, public servants, legal luminaries and officials of Societies.
