The removal of posters and cutouts that are being displayed violating election regulations is being carried out countrywide. Accordingly several Police teams have been deployed in the Polonnaruwa District for this process.
The removal of images and numbers of candidates pasted on vehicles contrary to election laws is being carried out by Police teams of the Polonnaruwa District. The process is taking place based on orders issued by the Elections Commissioner.
The Police teams are engaged in these activities day and night.
