Deputy Minister of Justist Sujeewa Senasinghe said that income of the people would be increased to 80,000 rupees by creating an industrial era in the country within three years and an economy would be created where everyone will have money in their hands.
The party will not give nominations to former President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the forthcoming general election and as well as it will never name former President as the UPFA’s Prime Ministerial candidate, Cabinet Spokesperson, Minister Rajitha senaratne said.

A Task Force has been appointed to combat the growing threat to children and young persons posed by bullying and sexual harassment via social media sites like Facebook and Instagram and other mobile and web based applications like Snapshot, Viber and WhatsApp. The Task Force has been appointed by the Sri Lanka National Child Protection Authority.
