A Cardiac Camp held recently a the tJ/Dr. A.Thiyagaraja M.M.V. in Karainagar organized by the Sri Lanka Navy in collaboration with Asiri Heart Care Center and the Medical Officer of Health (Kayts) received a very high response from the general public in the area. This camp was of great benefit to the people in Kayts where cardiac facilities are limited.
A revision of Voters’ Lists for 2015 is now in progress. Elections Commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya urged all eligible voters to duly fill the forms handed over to the householders and hand over them to the Grama Niladhari of the respective areas. If not the Elections Commissioner pointed out that the voters will not be able to exercise their franchise if their names are not found in the Voters’ Lists.
