    PM appoints a Committee to probe HNDA students attack
    Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe has appointed a special committee headed by Dr. B. M. S. Batagoda to probe into the attack on the HNDA students in Town Hall on October 29.
     
    Minister of Law and Order Tilak Marapana is also expected to make a special statement in Parliament tomorrow (03) in this regard.
     
     
    The National Police Commission is also to appoint a three member committee to  investigate into the conduct of the police during the confrontation with the students.
