He also adds that use of mobile phones, taking of photographs, videoing, retaining of fire arms as well as smoking, the use of liquor and other intoxicants are also prohibited in the premises of Polling Station.
The Election Commissioner issuing instructions on matters of concern on the day of the Poll, said that persons who are permitted to enter the Polling Station on 29th March, the date of election to the Western and Southern Provincial Councils will confine only to voters, staff of the Polling Station, Secretaries of the contesting recognized political parties, Candidates, Polling Agents and Election Observers, Police Officers who are on duty the Polling Station and other persons authorized by the Returning Officer.
