Kushan Kirana Ayung, Chairman of the Lion Air and the Sangha Theravada Indonesia, together with Ven. Prof. Bellanwila Wimalaratana Anunayake thero has made some financial donations to assist the people affected by the recent floods and landslides.
The donations worth Rs.2.5 million and Rs.500,000 were received by President Maithripala Sirisena today (21st June) at the Presidential Secretariat.
Secretary to the President, P.B.Abeykoon, H D Premasiri, President Bellanwila Esala Perahera Committee, Vice President Mahinda Madihahewa, Secretary Kesara Lal Gunasekera, Ruban Wickramarachchi , Treasurer and the President of Dayaka Sabhawa, R.A. Wijerathna were also present.
