    Public servants of Kalutara district express solidarity with the motherland Featured

    Public servants of the Kalutara District also intenselu defeat the opposition parties.  11,229 of the postal voters of the Kallutara district have voted for the United People’s Freedom Alliance showing their gratitude to the government. In the last election held in 2009 only 7,898 postal voters voted for the UPFA

    The United National Party has received 2,779 votes and the Democratic Party has received 2,322 vots.  The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna has come fourth receiving 973 votes.    

    All the nine independent groups and the 9 other political parties which contested from Kalutara District have received less than 50 votes each and 11 of them receiving less than 10 votes. 

     

    Public servants of the Kalutara district too have expressed their gratitude to the government solidly backing it and strongly opposing the foreign sponsored conspiracies and expressing their solidarity with the motherland. (niz)
