Inauguration ceremony of the 28th POLA Summit (The Presidents of Law Associations in Asia) was held on 22nd July under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena.
This summit, which is organized by Sri Lanka Bar Association, is held for three days in Colombo.
During the summit attention will be paid on the problems faced by the lawyers in Asian Region. They will discuss about the solutions on this regard.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, Minister Wijayadasa Rajapaksha and the President of the Bar Association U. R. de Silva were also present at this inauguration ceremony.
