The Kolamba Lamai Art Exhibition is a programme organized by the Urban Settlements Development Authority under the Ministry of Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities.

The first round of this art competition was held from 4th to 28th September within under-served settlements as well as in public places. The second round was held on 20th September at the Viharamahadevi Park under the patronage of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

The "Kolamba Lamai" programme is ceremonially held every year concurrence to the World Habitat Day and World Children's Day with the intention of improving their knowledge, skills and positive attitudes. (KH)
