Milroy Fernando felicitated for completing 25 years as a politician

President Mahinda Rajapaksa was the Chief Guest at the ceremony held to felicitate Senior Minister for Social Welfare and SLFP Chief organizer of Wennapuwa seat Milroy Fernando for completing 25 years as a Parliamentarian. The ceremony was held at the Albert F. Peiris Stadium in Wennappuwa on Monday (06).

During the ceremony, a memento was presented to the Minister by the President. The Minister on behalf of the people of Wennappuwa presented a memento to President Rajapaksa in appreciation of the services rendered by the President to protect the Roofing Tile industry in Wennappuwa.

Minister Maithripala Sirisena, Priyankara Jayarathna, North Western Province Governor Tissa R.Balalla, Deputy Minister Victor Anthony, Parlimentarian Arundika Fernando were among those present at the occasion. (KH)
