The new building at Akkarayankulam District Hospital in Jaffna was vested with the public by President Mahinda Rajapaksa on Sunday (12).
The new building with modern facilities consists of a maternity clinic, children's ward and a labour room.
Present on the occasion were Minister Douglas Devananda, Parliamentarian Murugesu Chandrakumar, Director General of Health Services Dr.Palitha Maheepala.(KH)
