    Heads of State Pose for a Photograph with India's New Prime Minister

    Heads of State of countries who were present at India's New Prime Minister Narendra Modi's swearing in ceremony at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhawan Yesterday (26) evening, posed for a photograph with Prime Minister Modi after the swearing-in ceremony.


    They were Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai, Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, Nepal Prime Minister Sushil Koirala and Maldivian President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom. Bangladesh was represented by Speaker Shirin Chaudhury. Mauritian Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam was also present at the occasion.


    President Mahinda Rajapaksa congratulates Mr. Narendra Modi at Rashtrapati Bhawan this (26) evening as he became the 15th Prime Minister of India.
