Sri Lanka - China students’ painting exhibition in Colombo

A painting exhibition of the students of Sri Lanka, Beijing, Hebei and Tianjin will be opened at J.D.A Perera Art Gallery, Colombo at 9 a.m. on 23rd July 2018.

 

The Association for Sri Lanka-China Social and Cultural Cooperation (ASLCSCC), Beijing, Hebei and Tianjin People’s Associations for Friendship with Foreign Countries have conducted a painting competition under the theme of Belt and Road Initiative to mark the Sri Lanka Cultural week in Beijing. The organizing committee has selected 40 paintings each from Colombo, Beijing, Hebei and Tianjin.160 paintings have exhibited in three cities in China.

 

ASLCSCC will organize Colombo exhibition to show the talents and skills of students of Sri Lanka and China. The paintings depict the culture, social life, development of both countries. Four winners (students) of the painting competition, Officers of Beijing, People’s Associations for Friendship with Foreign Countries (BPAFFC) from China,Mr.Liu Thung Director of Cultural Section of Embassy of China in Sri Lanka will attend the ceremony.
