The 135m long and 18.6m wide ship has a displacement of 7,676 tons. The crew of the ship is scheduled to take part in several programmes organized by the SLN before its departure on Sunday (07).

Making a four-day goodwill visit, 'Hai Yangdao', a ship of the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) arrived in the island on Thursday (04th October). The visiting Chinese ship was accorded a traditional welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy upon its arrival at the Colombo Port.
