The Executive Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket at its meeting held on Monday (28) approved the appointment of Marvan Atapattu as the Head Coach of the National Cricket team and Ruwan Kalpage as the Interim Assistant Coach. These appointments are in effect immediately till the conclusion of South Africa's tour to Sri Lanka this year.
The Executive Committee further approved the recommendation made by SLC's Cricket Committee Chairman, Selection Committee Chairman and Head of Coaching to appoint former Sussex County Captain and former Surrey County Coach Chris Adams as a Consultant for the upcoming tour of England.
