LAC Sadaruwan set a Sri Lankan record in his pole-vault event reaching 4.9Meters and LAC Ranasinghe reached 75.19 Meters in his javelin event.
The two athletes were welcomed by Air Force officials at the Bandaranaike International Airport.

Sri Lanka Air Force athlete Leading Air Craftman Ishara Sandaruwan, who set a Sri Lankan record winning 4th place in the pole-vault at the Thailand open Track and Field Championship 2015, has returned home . Leading Air Craft Man Suminda Ranasinghe won a Gold medal for javelin event at the same Championship.
