The Annual General Meeting of the Southern Province Girl Guides was held under the patronage of First Lady Shiranthi Wickremasinghe Rajapaksa at the Auditorium of the Carlton Pre-School in Tangalle, recently.
At the ceremony Girl Guides from Galle, Matara and Hambantota Districts were presented with the President's Guide Award as well as other awards by the First Lady.
President's Coordinating Secretary Sarath Gunarathna, Girl Guide Deputy Commissioner of Southern Province Nanda Rajapaksa were among those present at the event.(KH/SI)
