    ‘AVIATION VOICE’ Magazine presented to Minister of Civil Aviation…

    After the 30 years of civil war, now the field of Aviation is rapidly developing in Sri Lanka and people interested in aviation, unfortunately there are very limited resources available. Understanding the necessity Aviation Voice team has launched and publicized a website ‘Aviation Voice’ in June 2013 as the first aviation relating news web portal in island.

    The website is both in Sinhala and English. Also with parallel to the website they have created FB fan page on aviation in same name and at present the website is going well and there are many daily viewers and more than 11,500 aviation fans on the FB fan page. Considering the requests of viewers and with the objectives of improving the industry knowledge among general public, Aviation Voice team decided to launch a magazine as the second step.


    The inaugural issue of ‘Aviation Voice’ magazine was presented to Piyankara Jayaratne, Minister of Civil Aviation by Chathura Ranaweera, Managing Editor and Gayanga Wijesena Editor Aviation Voice Group on Sept.18, 2014, at the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Sethsiripaya, Battaramulla.


    The ‘Aviation Voice’ magazine is the first selling magazine in Sri Lanka which provides information on aviation to the Sri Lankans and they have planned to publish the magazine once in two months. This is a bilingual magazine, targets aviation enthusiasts all over the country. They intend to publish latest news relating to aviation industry of Sri Lanka, job opportunities available in the industry latest technology using in the field of aviation, etc. Especially they intend to cover the all aviation relating functions and Events taking place Island wide. They expect all aviation enthusiasts will link with them to spread the basic knowledge and the awareness of aviation industry among Sri Lankans.


    This magazine is available at all the Sarasavi Book shop outlets and Russian Publications or can order it online through the Aviation voice website for 200LKR.
