    Northern sea area likely to be rough

    The Met. Dept. says that Very Severe Cyclonic Storm “Hudhud” in the Bay of Bengal as it hit the Andhra coast at 150 kmph on Sunday afternoon it will be weaken. However under the influence of the system, increase of wind speed over the island and in the surrounding sea areas is still possible. The roughness of the northern sea area is likely. Strong winds will be reduced by Monday (13).


    There will be showers or thundershowers at several places in the sea areas around the island particularly in the southern and northern sea areas.

    Winds will be Southwesterly and the speed will be 30-40 kmph.

    The sea areas around the island may be rough at times as winds can strengthen up to 50-60 kmph.(KH)
