Islamabad: Pakistani fighter jets bombarded Taliban hideouts in the troubled northwest today, killing at least 30 .
The attacks on hideouts in Waziristan tribal districts were the latest in a series of airstrikes by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
Helicopter gunships were still continuing shelling in both North and South Waziristan, considered bastions of Taliban and Al-Qaeda militants, they added.
These recent attacks against the talibans coincide with the visit of Afgan President Ashraf Ghani that seeks to plan a stronger and more coordinated offensive against the rebels, the Prensa Latina News Agency reports said.(KH)
