The convocation to award Higher Diplomas to students who successfully completed training programmes in the Professions Supplementary to Medicine (PSM) and at the paramedical schools attached to the National Hospital of Sri Lanka took place on Wednesday (20) at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Colombo, under the patronage of Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa.

A group of students from 14 schools representing the Student Parliament of the Jaffna Education Zone, had the opportunity recently to participate in the “Vision” programme organized by the Presidential Secretariat.

The newly appointed High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to South Africa, Air Chief Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa (Retd.), assumed duties at the High Commission of Sri Lanka in Pretoria recently.
