Sri Lanka Cricket team has decided offer 25% of today’s (29) match fee to fund to help past cricketers facing economic hardships.The fund has been set up by the Minister of Provincial Councils, Local Government and Sports Faiszer Musthapha.
Sri Lanka Tourism is planning to attract golf enthusiasts to visit the country while touring the different regions where they could play their favourite sport. Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau Managing Director Sutheash Balasubramaniam told the Business Times on Wednesday that currently there were journalists flown in from Germany and Switzerland visiting the country’s golf courses in Colombo, Hambantota and Nuwara Eliya to create awareness of the golfing space in Sri Lanka.
