Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Vijitha Herath will undertake an official visit to the United Arab Emirates from September 2 to 3, 2026.
During the visit, Minister Herath is expected to meet several key UAE Ministers to further enhance bilateral cooperation between Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates.
The Minister is scheduled to hold discussions with the UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Dr. Abdulrahman Abdulmannan Al Awar, and the Minister of Economy and Tourism, Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, on matters of mutual interest.
On September 2, Minister Herath, together with UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, will grace the second edition of the “Sri Lanka Beyond Your Dreams” event in Dubai.
