The President’s Fund today (23) launched a new educational scholarship programme for children of low-income lottery sales agents.
The inaugural ceremony was held at 2.00 p.m. today at the Anuradhapura Provincial Council Auditorium under the patronage of Speaker of Parliament Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne. The programme has been introduced in recognition of the financial contribution made by lottery sales agents to the President’s Fund through lottery sales.
The scholarship programme, effective from 2026, will benefit schoolchildren from Grade 1 to Advanced Level across all provinces of the country.
