Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya concluded her five-day official visit to Bhutan and returned to Sri Lanka, arriving at Bandaranaike International Airport on the night of 05 September.
The visit provided valuable opportunities to further strengthen bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Bhutan, engage with international partners, and exchange views and experiences on areas of mutual interest and cooperation.
During the visit, the Prime Minister participated in a number of high-level engagements and discussions, focusing on strengthening cooperation between the two countries and exploring opportunities for further collaboration in areas of shared interest.
The visit also provided an opportunity for Sri Lanka to engage with international partners and exchange perspectives on key areas of common interest, while further strengthening the country's international cooperation and partnerships.
The successful conclusion of the visit is expected to contribute towards further enhancing the longstanding friendship and bilateral cooperation between Sri Lanka and Bhutan.
