Sri Lanka recorded 125,562 tourist arrivals during the first 18 days of August, according to the latest report released by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Authority.
India, the United Kingdom, France, China and Germany were the leading source markets during this period, the report said. Meanwhile, a total of 1,468,980 tourists have arrived in Sri Lanka from January 1 to August 18, according to the Tourism Promotion Authority.
The latest figures reflect continued strong international interest in Sri Lanka as a tourist destination.
