Secretary to the President invites the staff
Global Peace Delegation of Monks participating in the ‘Walk for Peace’ has commenced their journey to Sri Lanka from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport in Texas.
The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) has generated revenue of Rs. 1 billion within six days by providing transport services during the Sinhala and Tamil New Year season, Chairman Sajeewa Nandana Kanagaratne said.

The Sinhala and Tamil New Year, which symbolises the aspiration for renewal both physically and spiritually, is the foremost cultural festival of the people of this country.
